Francesca Gaza came to Ping Interactive with an incredible song, mixing Renaissance instruments with jazz improvisation and a singer-songwriter narrative.  The video that was created for the song is an audio-reactive, generative music video in which all the movement, scaling and camera movement is driven by the amplitude and pitch of the individual performers in the recording.  The images are a mix of Renaissance artwork, hand drawn images and generative, coded forms.

Alluding the piece's themes of cyclical time, the virtual set is circular and put together in Notch.  The moving set was assembled knowing that its elements would be controlled by the audio of the song.  All the audio analysis and final rendering was in TouchDesigner using Notch blocks.
